Some interesting stories on Digg this AM:
passive alarm systems and how insurance companies don’t believe clients claims of stolen cars;
the One Laptop Per Child project (reading more into that, but it sounds like a great idea!);
Senator Ted Stevens resorts to dirty tricks to thwart Net Neutrality;
Cingular gonna charge $5 for outdated phones still on the network (yeah, can we say class action lawsuit?);
and what the internet really looks like. Hey I found them interesting.
Got our DMB tickets this morning. Both sets. Now I have to contact the dude in VA, let him know I have them already. Yay! I can’t wait… it’s gonna be AWEsome :D And we have seats this time!
Made an appt with Aaron’s to get the trees down next Tuesday. May not be soon enough based on this morning’s weather report. Well, TS Chris is still only in the Leeward Islands so many things could influence it. Regardless, if need be we’ll break out the chainsaw and drop the 2 or 3 that have to come down. I just hope nothing comes through the two weeks we’ll be away. Jeez, 2 weeks…well, the money from just 4 days will pay for the trip to Bs As.
I think I have the design for the fabric pages, through of course I keep changing it. But this AM I think I decided I’m taking the color off, just leaving it white. I’ll test it in a little while. Still have to come up with the index pages for both the case and fabric studies. Leo comes back tomorrow. Wonder if he was able to get the Ikea things for us?
