Well, we’re back after a luverly time in VA. Came back with beer, rum, orchids and misc other shite, as usual. Drive was easy enough, too. Left at 11:30, got home at 00:30. Lotsa cops out but we were only doing 2-3 miles above the limit most times so… M&D left Sunday morning, N VA [...]

Year 9 Thanksgiving was nice. There was 14 of us this year. Enough for good conversations, not enough for unruly screaming children and hard-of-hearing levels. Kathy stayed a while and so did Maggie. Well, the rents are here, after a grueling 8 hr car trip to Miami and back. No issues or problems. And so it begins..

We did the 8′x 8′deck, with a little help from Jeff of course. It would’ve taken us two days to get done what he did in two hours. Then again, he brought over his compressor and nail gun. We’d already cut everything down and dug some holes, most of which had to get repositioned anyway. [...]

We had a wonderful time yesterday, and I believe Colin did too. The day was fantastic! Corey ended up passing out on the way home, and I really should’ve waited another 30 minutes to drive, but everyone was departing so… Well, on to house projects.
