Welcome to my own personal spot on the internet!

Who am I? I'm a passionate gardener, a spirited debater, a talented artist, gifted DJ, and a great friend. This site, however, is primarily focused on the amazing talents I have as bartender, server and event manager.

"Interesting", you say. "How long have you been in the hospitality industry? I thought you were a graphic artist by trade?"

To which I'd answer, "Way too many years to count. Since high school, the easiest thing for me to do while going to school was wait tables and man the host station. In college I was able jump behind the bar and realized that was much more lucrative and fun! Graphic design materialized once my skills were appropriately honed and I focused, with single minded zeal, on that arena for about ten years. However, I've since realized I missed the personal interaction provided by the hundreds of different people you meet and work with each day."

So the hospitality part of my existence came into being once again when, five years ago, I stumbled onto an events job with a local company. The challenge of catering and event design greatly attracted me and I'm still working for that same place. In the menatime, I got laid off from my design and marketing position, which I had held in conjunction, and decided to give that part of my life a short break.
